"Kan" and "Man" are the Siddham (Bonji) syllables used to represent the wrathful Buddhist deity Fudō Myōō that appears as a demon to the ignorant and a protector to the enlightened. This small work was produced on the occassion of a fundraiser and sold at the Contemporary Dayton.
